TEHRAN – Iran and Indonesia have made great achievements in boosting ties in tourism, cultural, political and economic fields, the Indonesian envoy to Iran has said.

Octavian Alimudin made the remarks on Sunday in a ceremony held to mark Indonesia's 72nd Independence Anniversary which was held in Tehran Milad Tower, IRNA reported.

Pointing the favorable ties between Iran and Indonesia, he said both countries have held good bilateral political meetings.
